I couldn't complain about today because it was a good/decent day. Today in school, I was completely immersed in my own little world, listening to music like I often do. My teacher did not offer us a bell ringer in fourth block since he merely wanted to hop stairs in the lesson for today. In class, we saw a video and read an article that went along with it. We also got a spacecat worksheet that we were to fill up using the article as a class and when it was time for us to go home we had a silent dismiss.

I began writing our annotated bibliography today. We were initially given a sample of the work before outlining our approach. As we were explaining, we used as a point of reference. Mr. Rease checked on us midway through the lesson to see how we were doing and offered assistance if needed. We engaged in it for the entire period until being let go.

We took notes for virtually the whole class session today. We had the option of writing them or typing them. I typed them, and we discussed rhetorical strategies. We also discussed how to write a rhetorical analysis. Finally, because we had no idea what syntax was, we went over it. It was the whole period, and the last 15 minutes of class were spent doing nothing.

Today in Mr. Rease's class, we began with a bellringer. We had to define perfection and explain what we wished to improve in our lives. Everyone wrote what they wanted to put on the board, and then we explained why. Then we began a task that will take us largely till the conclusion of class. The task required us to take a stand on the importance of aiming for excellence. We spoke about it for the whole class session.
