When I woke up this morning it didn’t feel like I had school today it felt like it was still the weekend. The weekend went by so fast it don’t make no sense. In 4th block, we read a story called the rock pile. The story was interesting but at the same time it wasn’t. But, before we read the story we did a bell ringer in our blogs about our neighborhoods. My teacher used the wheel to pick people from the class so he could hear from them. I can’t believe one of my classmates said she used to play with snakes when she was a kid. I could never do that lol.

Overall, I had a really decent day today. I had 4th block class early in the morning, which was strange to me, but it was fine since I got my benchmark done. Unfortunately, I didn't have the chance to complete; I had to finish one more question, but that's alright. In comparison to the last one I took last month, I felt like I performed much better this time. We also had a pep rally today, which was a lot of fun. I lost my voice, but that's alright since I had a terrific time cheering on the cheerleaders, volleyball, football, and softball teams.

Today in Mr. Rease's class, we began with a bellringer. We had to define perfection and explain what we wished to improve in our lives. Everyone wrote what they wanted to put on the board, and then we explained why. Then we began a task that will take us largely till the conclusion of class. The task required us to take a stand on the importance of aiming for excellence. We spoke about it for the whole class session.
